Area Triathlon

This natural site is especially designed and recognized by the Fédération Française de Triathlon (the French Triathlon Federation).

It was inaugurated on 24^th July 2010 in the presence of local councilors and representatives of the Fédération Française de Triathlon and gives everyone (triathletes of all levels, individuals, clubs, school groups...) the chance to discover or improve in the linked disciplines, namely swimming, bike racing and running, at any time and in complete safety.

How does this space work?

The official label of "Espace Triathlon" was awarded to the town of l'Aiguillon by the Fédération Française de Triathlon.

This natural site was designed specifically for the practice of Triathlon and is accessible to all free of charge all year long. Swimming is supervised from 1^st July to 31^st August. Make sure that you have personal insurance for accidental damages to yourself and others during Triathlon practice.

The Triathlon space comprises of : Boxes à Vélo

A transition area or cycle area, departure point for all activities, situated next to the Sailing Centre
A lake especially designed for water practice
Road circuits designed for cycling practice
Footpaths around the lakes designed for walking practice.
